It discussed the results Kosovo has achieved in the field of rule of law, the fight against corruption and freedom of media.

For all of this, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Kreshnik Ahmeti spoke first.

He spoke of results in these areas, with which he cited international reports on Kosovo.

“The World Justice Project lists Kosovo first in Europe and the second globally for major improvement in rule of law. In Transparency International's index, Kosovo has improved for 20 countries in the past two years. Kosovo has improved for 23 countries in terms of media freedom. The conclusion of the initial phase of membership is an important moment on our way towards full integration in the International Community and its citizens towards benefits from the Council of Europe and its” mechanisms, he said.

The Director for Co-ordination of the Council of Europe Programmes, Claus Neukrich, said they have helped Kosovo in the fight against corruption and money laundering.

But who added that work is still needed in the rule of law, where they mention the Istanbul Convention, reports EO, broadcasts Clankosova.tv.

“Sic knows the Council of Europe activity with Kosovo bases it on professional capacity principle by maintaining neutral approaches. We have carried out projects in the past, co-operation projects, including fighting corruption in terms of methodology and money laundering”.

“in the most important justice system is to mention the results of the anti- human trafficking expert group reports in terms of the Istanbul convention”, he said.
