The National Security Council meets after developments in northern Kosovo last weeks.
Kosovo police announced that three border police officials were kidnapped by Serb forces in the north at noon Wednesday.
Since the mid-May 26th, local Serbs from the northern municipalities of Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Leposaviqi have gathered and protested, rejecting the deployment of four new mayors in municipal facilities.
The US and EU have repeatedly sought to defuse the situation in northern Kosovo. Following tensions in the north, the US has expelled Kosovo's military from the Defender 23.
Today the EU has imposed “restrictive measures” on Kosovo, but has not called it sanctions. /Cashho. com
