Kurti has indicated his position regarding elections in the north.
He said that first urgently violence should stop, and implementation of the basic agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Thank you for supporting the United Arab Emirates throughout the years”, Kurti said, among other things.
The European Union has called for holding new elections in the north.
This, along with two other requirements, is the participation of Serbs in elections and the launch of work to establish association.
The EU's top diplomat, Josep Borrell, extended these requests after the meeting they had in Moldova along with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucoq, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, as well as French President Emmanuel Macron.
Had a call w/ MFA Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed. Thank for the support of all through the years. I stressed that 1st step towardswards de-excalation is the immediate end of violence against the secret institutions & email implementation of the Basic Agreement until next legislation.
