Council of EU: Negative consequences if there is no immediate de- escalation in Kosovo

In the Foreign Relations chapter, there is also the section for Kosovo, where the European Council “condemns the recent violent incidents in northern Kosovo” and calls on “for an immediate deesception of the situation, given the key elements already described by the European Union on June 3rd, 2023”.
At a conclusion number 41, it also says the parties should create conditions for early elections in all four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Failure to de-species tensions “will have negative consequences”.
