In the Foreign Relations chapter, there is also the section for Kosovo, where the European Council “condemns the recent violent incidents in northern Kosovo” and calls on “for an immediate deesception of the situation, given the key elements already described by the European Union on June 3rd, 2023”.
At a conclusion number 41, it also says the parties should create conditions for early elections in all four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Failure to de-species tensions “will have negative consequences”.
The EU-mediated dialogue led by the High Representative and quick implementation of the Agreement on the road towards normalisation and its Implementation Annex continue. This includes the establishment of the Association/United Committees with the Serbian Majority”, it is said at the European Council for Kosovo's conclusion. / clancosova /
