Baby death at Prizren Hospital is determined to ensure safety against doctors

The Constitutional Court in Prizren has assigned security measures to three Prizren Hospital doctors who were arrested on Saturday, under suspicion of irresponsible medical treatment.

The same are accused of not being adequately treated by the parent of a baby who died after birth.

According to this court's announcement, the house arrest measure is scheduled for two F.S. suspects, and G.S., as well as the police station's provision to suspect S.R.

The same are allegedly in co-ordination committed criminal acts “irresponsible medical treatment”, and criminal work “manipulation with evidence”.

According to the court's announcement, the security measure will be validated from 27.06,2023, and could last until 27.07.23.

The court, in case of the security measure appointed for the defendants, has estimated that there are legal reasons for the move's appointment, and from the evidence collected until this stage, comes the suspicion that:

On June 27th, about 3:40 p.m. at Prizren Regional Hospital, the defendants in the quality of caregivers act carelessly as a team of doctors on the baby's birth, until he has had the condition of the injured (Patients), and the child's, with what cases they understand the condition of the injury and child the team of doctors to intervene late, but the newborn child fails to survive.

Also, on June 27th, about 3:40 p.m. in Prizren, at Prizren Regional Hospital, the defendants in the quality of caregiver doctors hide, or make it unexplorable, entirely the main test item for the purpose of unable to exploit the item in official procedure, in the way that after birth, the defendants placentatate the fetus, who changes life after birth, in order to hide the case of testing the cause of the baby's death, do not identify and then place it together with other places where they do not save the body of the deceased child at the time sent to the scene of the prosecutor's death, which is the cause of the prosecution.

During the day today, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren had applied for the appointment of the detention measure against the three defendants.

According to the court, at the hearing hearing for the security measure's appointment, the State Prosecutor has stated that he is stepping down from the request for the detention measure, and has proposed that, against indictees F.S., and G.S., be appointed house arrest measures, and on indictees S.R., be appointed measures of presentation at the police station.
