He clarified several statements in this hearing, following the judges ' questions.
The fifth witness in Peter Shala's case stated that people were brought to the metal factory building in Kukes, according to him, as suspected of working for Serbs.
When asked by the judge if the men had their hands tied, the witness said he was not sure about it.
He claimed that it was possible that people who behaved there had their hands tied.
The car they brought in is the possibility that they were connected, but there was no connection between building number one. Perhaps they were connected because they were not brought here immediately, once to the office of Commander”, the fifth witness said.
In question of what backgrounds the suspects who were sent to building number 1, the witness said most of them were Albanians, but that there were Roma.
Asked what he meant yesterday in the statement that in the building number 1 general conditions were bad, the witness said he thought of poor food conditions.
When we ate bread, they ate. Some bad day and day no... They've had the worst conditions they've been in that closed building, they've had a walk away from”, he added.
Now in this session, after the pause, the sixth witness's statement will continue in Peter Shala's case.
