“Vielen dank”, Kurti thanks Germany at the party organised in the square for 15 years of diplomatic relations

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, accompanied by Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli, has attended the 15th anniversary of German-Kosovo official diplomatic relations.

On this occasion, Germany's Embassy in Kosovo, along with other German and German-related organisations and institutions in Kosovo, are organising various activities in Pajaziti” Square in Pristina.

Welcoming the German state for all its contribution to Kosovo, Kurti said it has the honour that it is here to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany.

At this ceremony, in which German Ambassador Jorn Rohde was in front of those present, Kurti recalled that Germany was one of the first countries to have recognised the state of Kosovo, and that Germany was the state that became a refuge for many Albanians since the years of 50, whether because of the occupation or even later war.

In these 15 years of friendship, between our Republic and German, we have the best memories of German support in the rule of law, in education, in energy efficiency and infrastructure. Our co-operation, our partnership, our alliance, and our friendship with the German state would be as far as growing and deepening”.

He has also thanked members of the German KFOR who are here, for whom he said from the liberation we have part of our country's defence and security.
