The Special Prosecutor reports that “accused C.A. in January (May 8, 1999), interacting with a criminal group (now unidentified), organized, dressed in police, paramilitary, military uniforms, carried out the criminal work of fighting the civilian population), punished by Article 142 of the Criminal Law of the former Socialist Federation Republic of Yugoslavia (back) ) R SFJ) as law in effect at the time of the criminal offence, currently punishable according to the war criminal offence in serious violation of Article 3 for Geneva conventions, and Article 4 of Protocol 2 on the 08.06.1977, currently punishable by Article 146 and 147 of the No Code. 06/L-074 Penal of the Republic of Kosovo (backward )”, says the report.
Also, the Special Prosecutor has proposed that the trial be held in absentia after all efforts to locate the accused have been exhausted.
