Lavrov has remembered that the West has supported Kosovo's independence, even though there has been no referendum, while the same principle has not been used in the Crime case.
The head of Russian diplomacy has claimed that Kosovo has gained its independence through a mutual and illegal “statement”, while all that the EU has agreed with Kosovo and Serbia about 10 years ago has not yet been fully implemented. According to him, this won't happen, because “The West has moved to the side of separatists”, and “nobody plans to do anything” in this direction.
The reaction to the Serbian population, which these days are protesting against the illegal takeover of power north of “autonomation”, is disturbing”, Lavrov said, adding that NATO is on the side of “parastists”.
Further decisions, according to his words, “will get the president of Serbia, the Serbian people and Serbs struggling for their rights in northern Kosovo”.
He has also claimed that a <x0 conflict is flourishing in downtown Europe, the same place where in 1999 NATO committed aggression against the former Yugoslavia”.
