Referendum must become constitutional category, citizens decide on agreement with Serbia

They say that not including the referendum in the country's Constitution is a problem, which, according to them, is meant to be done.

University Professor Milazim Krasniqi said that if the Association lives, Kosovo would have major consequences, so according to him, the referendum would not have to be ruled out as an opportunity.

All of this according to Krasniqi, if Kosovo is conditioned by the European Union on this issue.

Therefore, in this respect the referendum will not have to be ruled out as option”, he said.

Krasniqi said the failure to undermine the referendum in the Kosovo Constitution is done with “sherr”, because Kosovo has become a state without real elements of sovereignty.

“How I know that in our constitution it is not a referendum as a mechanism, and it has been a struggle since the beginning because somehow Kosovo has become a state without real elements of sovereignty, and we suffer the consequences of such a” election, he said.

Political analyst Albinot Maloku, in a proposal for Online Economy, said that as a result of political circumstances, the referendum has not been introduced within the country's Constitution.

Kosovo's “Republic in its Constitution does not have the referendum as its own category, and that is a problem that should not be. But as a consequence of the political circumstances such as the Ahtisaari plan process that does not foresee this then even the country's Constitutional constitutions, this constitutional category is not in existence it should be”, he said.

He added that the political leader would have to be interested in seeing opportunities to live up to the issue.
