Peach after meeting with Kurt: I delivered clear message, government actions have damaged Kosovo's reputation

British Emisr Stuart Peach has come up with a public statement after the visit to Kosovo, saying the unilateral actions of the Government of Kosovo have caused consequences and damaged his international image and reputation in allies. He has said that Great Britain has stood near Kosovo and will continue to stay even now, but has expressed his stance that this approach of the government will make the situation difficult.
This is my fourth visit to Kosovo and is happening at a difficult time. I have met Prime Minister Kurti as well as Deputy Prime Minister Gervala and Defence Minister Mehej, KFOR and Ambassador Havenier. At my meeting with Government, I have conveyed a very clear message: the Government of Kosovo's action to impose the establishment of mayors in municipal facilities by force, was reckless, and has caused harmful consequences. It is necessary for all parties to commit to de-scaling”, Peach wrote.
He has said that from talks with counterparts in Washington and Brussels, he has realised that Kosovo has been damaged both for image and reputation it has had in allied countries.
I'm looking carefully at the events and talking to my counterparts in Washington, Brussels and beyond. These discussions have made it clear to me that these events have damaged Kosovo's international image and its reputation in allies. Great Britain has stood near Kosovo in good times and bad as friends and supporters and will continue this way, but unilateral actions will only reflect the situation”, Peach wrote in the end.
