Norwegian Defence Minister Bjorn Arild Gram and Interior Guard Chief Norwegian (Heiternet), Morten Eggen, took part in training Ukrainian soldiers on training grounds.
Officials saw the Ukrainian Army practicing interrogator combat operations and providing first aid to the battlefield under the direction of instructors from the Norwegian Home Guard.
Since the end of April, Norwegian House Guard instructors have started a four-week intensive training course for more than a hundred Ukrainian soldiers in military medicine, shooting training and team leadership.
We will support the training and education of Ukrainian personnel in both Norway and other countries. Such support is becoming increasingly important, as Ukraine uses more and more Western materials,” said Gram.
