Visar Azem from this party says these projects could have been signed with Kosovo, but that it did not happen because of the “inability of this government”.
Montenegro's “government and representatives of American companies yesterday signed in Podgorica the memorandum for the implementation of two energy infrastructure projects. One is the construction of a terminal for the import of liquid natural gas to the Montenegrin state and construction of a gas power plant. These projects have been able to live in Kosovo, but because of this government without vision and knowledge, today they are a lost strategic investment of this very government”, he has written.
He has even shared a quote from Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli when he gave reasons why they did not sign.
Kosovo needs more information to be sure that building gas infrastructure is the best option for our energy transition”, noncompetant Minister Artane Rizvanolli said at the time. So why this project, in addition to the importance of the energy level for Kosovo, had geostrategic benefits. This, in addition to the industrial impact, would also enable the reduction of dependence on Russian gas”.
Azemi says Kosovo lost not only in finance, but also in reports with the US.
This is just financial loss for Kosovo. This is also the deformity of a real report that Kosovo has built with the US over the years. Hence, this irresponsible government must go as far as possible. Kosovo needs a serious and responsible powers”.
