Krasniqi: We will not back away from seeking justice and responsibility for the violent disappearance of Ukshin Hoti

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has commemorated Uksin Hotin on the 24th anniversary of his disappearance.

Krasniqi has declared that Hoti is violent missing from the hands of the Serbian state, while saying he will not back down, seeking justice and responsibility for his disappearance, Teve1.info reports

It was Sunday, May 16, 1999. Kosovo was burning in flames, and thousands of prisoners were being held unjustly in many Serbian prisons, both inside and outside Kosovo. Among them is Professor Ukshin Hoti, who has been serving five years in the Dubrava prison.

Therefore, we will never back down seeking justice and responsibility for the violent disappearance of Professor Hoti. The same is true of all 1617 Kosovo citizens, who have disappeared by violence and yet found themselves undiscovered. Because they, everyone, are our wound open. It's our daily pain”, Krasniqi wrote.
