According to KMDLNj, from the very beginning, the accused have not received materials or received only partially translated into Albanian or language that they understand is human basic right to prepare an effective protection guaranteed by all national and international laws for persons deprived of freedom.
The specialised Office prosecutor has stated that they have no legal obligation to translate material into Albanian by referring to the Jakup Krasniqi case. It was scandalous that even the sentence for the detention and confirmation of the indictment, only partially translated into Albanian, and DHS's reasoning was that; materials are being translated. ... ”
This is, according to KMDLNA, a flagrant violation of the human rights of those deprived of freedom directly affects the quality of preparing an effective protection so far ago that most of the accused do not have enough knowledge of protection to prepare in the language that the Special Court imposes.
“To make even more pressure on the failure of the accused's defence, the Special Prosecutor in The Hague is trying to intimidate the defenders by asking the Judicial Chamber to sanction lawyers for their public opinions in different media at the time when this special prosecutor in the most brutal way violates the principle of preventing innocence by declaring, not only once that the accused could be sentenced to life in prison without a decision of the proper form of the court”
