A KFOR spokesman said the oath of President Attic will be made only under the security of the Kosovo Police.

KFOR's “Commander remains in close contact with all of his key co-ordinators, including EULEX representatives, UNMIK, the OSCE, institutions in Kosovo and Kosovo Security Organisations”, further stresses.
Deputy Police Director in the North Mitrovica region Veton Elshani has warned that police have prepared an operational plan for avoiding eventual incidents.
“In terms of security, the police are fully prepared to make sure the inauguration goes smoothly, we are prepared for all police planning situations and requires such a thing, the situation I can say is now calm but fragile and to see how it goes in the coming days, whatever situation the police will have is prepared for all”, he said.
Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said Serbs will never accept new elected mayors in northern Kosovo municipalities.
I am urging Serbs to maintain peace, since they will never be accepted as mayor”, he has declared.
The constitutional session is expected to be held Friday (morrow) in the northern Mitrovica municipal object, by 11:00.
