But, in the same line of thought as US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Havenier, is not Minister of Management and Local Power Elbert Krasniqi, who is on the “show. FIVE” on TV Dukaagjini stressed that elected mayors in the four municipalities in northern Kosovo will be mayors with pre-law powers.
So unlike the Hovenier who demanded that the mayors have <x0 technical and not political”, Krasniqi hints that the mayors will have “political and non-technical”.
“The elected leaders will be mayors with those pre-lawed powers”, Krasniqi said.
Commenting on the oath of the chairman of the Northern municipality, Erden Attic, who took place during Friday (now), Krasniqi confirmed that the Kosovo government will back the newly sworn chairman for the full implementation of his mandate.
“What's important is that all the other mayors and Attici will exercise all the first competencies with the constitution and the application laws, you know that the North Mitrovica municipality has additionally delegated rights, are under the father's responsibility, and that's important to us as the Government we are in support of implementing its” mandate, Krasniqi added.
