Then, from Prime Minister Albin Kurti, he was told that he had completed his mission.
But until there is no more an Ekip Manager and the draft statute proposed by him has been deemed currently unacceptable to Kurti, what will happen next, will such a new team be formed?
In this regard, for the newspaper Blic, Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu says the team has had technical character and the process is now on the political level.
He says Kosovo has not been able and cannot travel with him until his proposal has been unacceptable. The manager's “Ekipi has had technical character, while the process is already on the political level. He has been relieved of duty, since there is no longer any function. Their proposal for us has been mentally unacceptable. As a result, we haven't and can't travel with them towards full implementation of the Basic Agreement, which should be the main target”, the Kryeziu potencon.
Government spokesman says Prime Minister Kurti at the last meeting in Brussels has submitted Croatia's model for national minorities, which says it is an accepted model in the past from Serbia. According to him, this is a proper reference on the road forward in relation to Serbia.
“Prime Minister Kurti has presented his vision for implementing Article 7 of the Basic Agreement. We believe that our proposal enables us to build something new, just and useful for all. It is based on Croatia's model for national minorities. Croatia is a member state of the EU and NATO. With Croatia, we share a common past with Yugoslavia's breakup, while as a state we aspire to be members of both the EU and NATO. Furthermore, such a model has been accepted in the past by Serbia. Therefore we also believe that constitutes proper reference for the road forward in relation to Serbia”, Kryeziu declares.
