With the spring comes sunlight. The more time outside and extra exposure to the sun can be harmful to your skin.
In view of this, a dermatologist, Dr. Ross Perry, reveals the most common mistakes we make with our skin during this season.
1. Avoid Seting Sunlight
The sun in April is as strong as it is in August, so you have to treat it as such. Don't be fooled by a fresher flag because UV radiation is there. In fact, protective cream should not be neglected on any day of the year. At best, you can also re-applicate every 3-4 hours.
2. Failure to Protect Burned Skin
If you notice that your skin has been burned, act quickly to treat it. You need to get away from exposure to the sun immediately, apply hydrated and soothing creams and then think about applying SPFs.
Remember: Prevention is better than treatment.
3. Dehydration
During spring, people often underestimate the amount of water they should drink. This results in dehydration, and this dehydration is, among other things, reflected in the skin.
4. You don't take moles seriously
Skin helmets can be discovered early because of changes in moles, or new mole shows. The sooner you act, the sooner you can get treatment. Make an annual checkout, at least before you leave for summer break!
5. Vitamin D
Dr. Ross suggests supplements of vitamin D for adults and children over 4 years of age especially if you are not exposed enough in the sun.
To that end, you can also communicate with your doctor!
