Kosovo's “Security Force with sub-commission officers joins the South Force headquarters in the Republic of Albania, under the implementation of international exercise “Defender Europe 23] led by the American Army for Europe and Africa”, Mehe has declared.
“Defender Europe 23” started Sunday. The opening ceremony was held in “Square Skenderbeu”, where state leaders declared that KSF's goal is NATO membership.
The KSF in these exercises has more than 1,300 troops, ranking in fourth place with the largest number of participating troops.
Part of “Defender Europe 23” are 25 NATO countries with over 22 thousand military troops.
Kosovo will be in charge of the largest international military exercise in the Balkan region, “Defender Europe 23<18x1>, with which the capacity of two Kosovo Security Force regiments will be validated, and will also show the extent of military interoperability alongside the forces of partner states.
