Everything is ready for the start of the exercise led by the American Army and the goal is to increase and interoperability between partners as well as the operational readiness of NATO and partners to react in the event the threat to the continent of Europe.
The official ceremony will begin at 11: 00 a.m., while Ejup Macedonia, a officer with primary responsibility for the exercise “Defender 23”, tells of Kosovas that from 13:40 will open for citizens.
This ceremony will also feature the musical band of the United States Army.
“It will be the day when the Kosovo Security Force will present part of its units, equipment and vehicles at Skenderbeu Square in Pristina. In addition to the Kosovo Security Force, there will be partner units participating in Kosovo, so that they will be able to see the participating units from the various countries, which will be part of Dfender Europe 2350...”, he says.
