As the prime minister's office reports, they talked about the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, with emphasis on full and unconditional implementation of the Basic Agreement, as well as Monday's meeting in Brussels at the level of chief negotiators.
Similarly, Kurti of Chollet also spoke of the situation in four municipalities in northern Kosovo after the April 23rd elections and of finalising the election process in case of holding constitutional sessions and swearing to elected mayors.
“Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo remain committed to ensuring constitutionality and legitimacy, and at the same time ensuring the management of services to citizens”, the report said.
Meanwhile, ZKM says Choll's Kurti conversation began “with the successful visit to Kosovo of the U administration AID, Samantha Power, who along with Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Rizvanolli announced the first auction for the solar power park with a capacity of 100 ME. In this regard, adviser Cholett said she was divided with the best impressions and thanked the prime minister for the reception. The prime minister expressed honour and gratitude for the visit of the Power administrator and for the continued support of U USAID and the United States for Kosovo”.
Phone conversations Chollet also held with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. In this conversation, Cholett said it is necessary to avoid provocations and conflicts between Kosovo and Serbia.
These talks were held before today's session of the Senate's Commission on Foreign Relations, which scheduled the hearing Thursday called “US policy assessment for the Western Balkans”.
This guest hearing is: Derek Chollet, senior adviser to the U.S. State Department and American Emisar for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.
