He has written on Twitter that “strongly condemns the actions of the Kosovo Government”, which according to Blinken is escalating tensions in the north and increasing instability.
” Call on Prime Minister Albin Kurti to stop these violent measures immediately and to refocus on the EU facilitated Dialogue”, he wrote among other things.
There have been tensions in northern Kosovo all day.
Local Serbs prevented Albanian mayors from entering northern municipal facilities, and Kosovo Police were involved.
