The UN agency's report confirms a long-standing trend: Foreign tourists' interest in Albania has increased significantly. Insta's data showed that there was an increase of visitors in January by almost 100% compared to the same period of 2022. The number of interior tourists, from some 260 thousand January last year to 450,000 on January this year, was also double growth. In 2022, about 7.5 million people visited Albania, an increase of 32% compared to a year ago.
