It has called on both countries to implement the agreements reached in the dialogue.
He has even been firm in demand, for Serbia said he should not prevent Kosovo in the international arena.
And for Kosovo, he said he must form the Association, saying that “if you sign the agreement you must implement”.
I think both sides that signed the agreement should implement them. I've been clear that if you sign the agreement you have to keep it. Serbia should not prevent Kosovo from membership. It's good as we should see Kosovo create association and, of course, we have to implement agreements”, he said.
He said Sweden supports Kosovo's application for membership in the European Union, with the Scandinavian state currently leading the EU presidency, the Online Economy reports.
Billström, who is standing on an official visit to Kosovo, at a joint media conference with counterpart Donika Grovalla said the Swedish presidency is keeping the European agenda for the Balkans as a priority.
“Swedia has strongly supported the reform process in Kosovo. We are the fifth largest donor in the development of trade relations. The Swedish presidency in the EU is making the European agenda for the Balkans a priority, and today we have talked about our situation in Europe and the Western Balkans”.
“We support the Kosovo integration process and, of course, the reform processes related to Kosovo's application for membership. Of course, we will support it as a regular procedure, the same as for other countries”.
