According to them, this government over the years has known more than new recognitions. They have added that the Government has focused more on the issue of dialogue with Serbia, even though this has not initially been a priority.
As far as Kosovo's application for candidate status in the European Union is concerned, they say this process linked to the success of the dialogue process with Serbia.
Vetevendosje's re-member, Nol Nushi, now organisational secretary to the Social Democrat Party, has said Kosovo's application for candidate country status in the EU is more like a symbolic application, as according to him, this process will last up to 30 years to end.
“I have seen it more as a symbolic application, seeing the situation also in Ukraine where Finland engaged in NATO, and some accelerated expansions took place even Kosovo made this application on this line, with western wing damage against Russia. I don't see any rapid development there because even if accepted it takes 20 or 30 years to end, at best. So I don't believe it's the subject that's going to worry us soon,”, he said.
He said Kosovo's fate is related to the fate of dialogue with Serbia. Niushi adds that for two years in this government, there has been more recognition than new recognitions, and it all stresses that it has occurred as the cause of the government's wrong approach.
The Kosovo state's <x0).Fate is practically linked to the fate of dialogue with Serbia, all these governments today who govern have said we once have no recognition because there is corruption, there is bad governance, there are no governments. For Kurti's two years there is more recognition, that recognition has not taken away even we have always been for dialogue and pro-communication in dialogue so that Kosovo's problem can permanently solve”.
“We consider Kosovo to be an undependent and sovereign state, the problem is that most of the world, the states are not considering us that. Which is happening by solving the problem with Serbia. I don't think there's any access to our government, access to the problem. More like Kurt's attempt to invest in this problem over and over again, so it won't stop because it's serving you for internal electorates. On this line I do not see any progress in recognition, the disaster has been that even measure the Ohrid Agreement, the state like Spain, Greece that is expected to recognise us declared from Belgrade that there is no change. The prospects are bleak because the government's approach is problematic”, he said.
Former VV President Africa Casolli said all processes of Kosovo's integration agenda along with meeting the criteria relate to the success that will have Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
The overall integration agenda, along with meeting internal criteria in large measure, will depend on dialogue dynamics. After all, all progress reports for both Kosovo and Serbia that have been made so far in an experimental way stress that one of the criteria in the two countries' integration agenda is also success in dialogue. In addition to meeting the necessary criteria that are ahead, even this dimension is an unequivocal condition for success”, he said.
Casolli told him that the Government of Kosovo has so far been focused on the topic of dialogue with Serbia, so according to him, there is no recognition in foreign policy.
The “in general has not characterised any specific dynamics, even not the main subject. The Kosovo government so far has largely been focused on the topic of dialogue, this has been the central, dominant topic in its foreign policy we have no recognition, we have nothing else despite the fact that the Government's key promise has been that the topic of dialogue will not be a priority for it. But practices have proven that this has become its political priority”, he said.
