Germany's Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, has hosted Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, today.
After the meeting, they have held a media conference, where Scholz has said he believes that soon Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq, will sign the European Union's proposal for normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
Albania is making good progress towards bloc membership, Scholz said at a news conference with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“Bilateral Relations between Germany and Albania are excellent”, German Chancellor told reporters, adding that his government would remain a trusted “partner” in Tirana's bid to join the EU
