Researchers who studied 196 recessiond articles involving over 30 million participants in 94 large groups of jobs then conducted a study on the connection between levels of physical activity and the risk of heart disease, cancer and premature death.
Britain's National Health Service (NHS) recommends that there be 150-300 minutes of physical activity each week that increases heart rate, or 75-150 minutes of intense activity a week that increases breathing rate.
The head of research, Leandro Garcia, rector at Belfast University, said that low physical activity is better than nothing while this is a good start.
If you think 75 minutes a week can be done, then you can try to grow this gradually in the recommended amount”, he said. /A2 CNN
