Lajcak concludes meetings with opposition: Appointments Fulfilled Their Purpose

Lajcak has met with Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, the one of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, and recently the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku.
After meeting with the latter, Lajcak was asked by the media about concerns that opposition parties will not ratify the agreement on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia when it reaches the Kosovo Assembly.
Lajcak said he is not worried about it, but that he is optimistic.
Among other things, emissary said that meetings have fulfilled his purpose.
I think it's important at this point for me to meet with opposition parties and I met the PDK and LDK and informed them of the process of expectations of the international community, they explained their party positions, so it's all about preparation of the March 18th” meeting.
It's also important that they hear it from me and not just from the media or parliament. And for me, the meeting has fulfilled its goal”, Lajcak said.
