The Serbian List official said Wednesday from Zagreb that dialogue has no alternative and that the European proposal “is not easy for either side”.
“We have the opportunity to live normally, without political pressure and political burden. I always stress that we must support any process, however difficult it may be, that will bring peace, stability and normal life”, Jevtic said, Serbian media reports.
The last “I was in Washington and talked with special American envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar and other officials, and I felt a great determination that Washington should enter this process with a very clear purpose, which is to stop dragging and start not only with agreement, but with the implementation of what has been agreed on”, Jevtic said.
When it comes to the association of Serb majority municipalities, Yevtic said it “would not be monoethnic”.
“Action will not be monoetic. I mentioned Shrpka, there are other municipalities where communities and other peoples live, such as Novoberda, Gracanica, Mitrovica, where Albanians, Bosniaks and other peoples” live, Jevtic stressed.
