Italian ambassador counters Vuciqi over Kosovo's UN membership

Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, has stated that at this stage of negotiations with Serbia, an agreement is being signed in which Kosovo's entry into the UN is not actually provided.
Thus, he countered Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, who had said after meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurtin that he would not allow Kosovo's membership in the UN.
But, according to the Italian diplomat, it is clear, however, that this agreement will bring the de facto recognition of Kosovo's citizenship and sovereignty.
