The discontent and complaints brought before the Union's Steering Council, reportedly in the media communiqué, have been the reduction of net wage in certain sectors and different levels, non-compensities for riskability and specific labor additions for certain categories of civilian staff. Disillusionment has also shown in classifying certain civil staff professions and ignoring the list3 submitted by the Police Management Commission.
The Union's Steering Council after this meeting has come up with calls for the Government of Kosovo, related to risk additions, additions to civilian staff, classification of civilian staff.
We seek from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo that additional risks for all police officials, without exception, be realised with the March pay and in no case should there be discounts during the categories from what has been so far, directly before the entry into force of the Law of the Pagans and irroactively compensated for the extension of February. We ask the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to realise additions to the civilian staff at the KP, as they have so far realised before the introduction of this law and also to have additions to specific jobs and working conditions.
We ask the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to classify the civilian staff according to the list sent by Kosovo Police.
Also, the particular requirement is for a union representative to participate in the quality of observers in the commission for setting up risk and specific additions to specific working conditions”, the announcement says.
At the end of the announcement, they say they expect the government to be further away until next week to return an answer or otherwise consider all possibilities for steps to further union.
Based on the above-mentioned conclusions we ask from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo that the most distant until the end of next week, we will receive answers on our demands on the contrary, we are obliged to consider all options and other union steps ahead of law”, the statement said.
