LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri says the European proposal for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations carries two serious risks.
One, according to the former head of Gjilan, is for a time not to have the demand for recognition of Kosovo's independence.
On the other hand, Haziri stressed that the second risk relates to the point of the “crossing past”, based on the European plan.
“Proposal has no recognition problem. The parties agree that in this period of time, you should not have asked for recognition. We miss the opportunity to justify our request to Slovaks, why does he know you when you agreed with Serbia not to know you? We have lost a credit and a possible basic request”, he said.
The second “, with non-recognition, is also linked to past overcoming. Within the recent past, many that have been expected to be within the context of the reconciliation process, in a new situation when there comes the apology for the damage to the war that has been caused. This agreement gives Serbia very undeserved credit because they say we agreed not to talk to me about the past”, he said in Tv1.
Also, Haziri says it is possible that if this agreement between Kosovo and Serbia is signed, two states are moved by the five non-recognising EU agreements.
