At least six people have died and several others have been wounded after shooting guns in the northern German town of Hamburg, DW reports.
Hamburg police said in a tweet that a large-scale operation was under way in the Alsterdorf area.
According to some media reports, the shooting occurred at a headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses on Deelboge Street.
Residents living nearby were warned to flee their homes amid the ongoing operation.
