The head of the Albanian state will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, with whom he will discuss strategic and security developments on the east wing of NATO and the Western Balkans.
“Also, the topic of discussions will be continuing support for Ukraine; Albania's commitment and contribution to NATO, as well as expectations for the upcoming NATO summit, to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, in July of this year”, broadcast Klaankosova.tv.
On this official visit, Begaj will be accompanied by Albanian Army Forces Chief of General Staff Arben Kigghi and members of his cabinet.
It is Begaj's first official visit to the North Atlantic Alliance to the quality of Albania's president.
