Baralius comments Article 7: Serbia targets “Religious sets within Kosovo state”

Constitutional law professor Mazbul Baraliu has commented on Article seven of the EU's plan, which, among other things, says the “pals will formalise the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and offer strong level of protection for Serbian religious and cultural heritage objects, in line with existing European models”. [...]
According to him, this is the “Religious government within the state of Kosovo”. It was said that such an article is the most cancerous part of the agreement that deals with the status of the Orthodox Church.
“Intervention of a religious state in Kosovo citizenship, which in all likelihood means a religious state within the state of Kosovo”, he added in a recent interview at Kanal 10.
He also stressed that problem remains the formation of the Serb-run municipality Association, Paparaci broadcasts.
He stressed that it is a direct intervention by Serbia in Kosovo, which he says will turn into a Republika Srpska.
So for Baraliu, that means another state within our country and our country.
So we have the Association, the territorial governance itself, the administrative, the autonomy, the management itself. It also implies territorial autonomy that means state in the state. So Serbia with this triple agreement is evolved into Kosovo citizenship and risks it. Through State to State, management itself, association that is another” structure, followed.
Therefore, the second intervention is because it is possible to enter any of the other municipalities, so these 10 municipalities and others, but no Kosovo institution has the power to break apart the association, which means if you can break it down it passes from the Association to the Republic, and becomes another republic in Kosovo”, he noted.
