The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has held a telephone conversation today with senior US State Department Adviser Derek Chollet, on the eve of Monday's meeting in Brussels, writes Periscope.
As the prime minister's office reports, Kurti has confirmed his stance on the European proposal as a good basis for further talks towards normalising relations.
“For normal, European and good neighbourly relations, Prime Minister Kurti stressed that in addition to mutual recognition at the heart of the agreement, we should consider the rights of national minorities. The Prime Minister thanked Mr. Cholls for support along the process of dialogue and the constant attention of the United States of America, especially Mr. Personal Cholles”, said among other things in the prime minister's announcement.
