“Thika Lufty, bag, tactical vest”, police find military equipment on a bus in Merdar

Kosovo police, during the search for a bus luggage at the border checkpoint with Serbia in Merdar, have found suspected military equipment.

“Trell combat knives, two radio-carols, a military bag, a tactical vest, a pair of gloves, a tactical helmet, three batteries, two pistols, a pre-mandation, etc.”, says in the Police's notice, which points out that the case has been initiated as “import, export, supply, production, exchange, exchange, mediation, or unauthorized sale of weapons<3>.

Kosovo's “Police with customs authorities are constantly working on implementing their tasks and authorisations for an effective and effective management of the state border of the Republic of Kosovo. The equipment has been seized, and with the verdict of the competent prosecutor, the suspect has been released in regular procedure.

Investigations concerning the case remain under way by competent authorities.
