Gori said that in this year, the driving trend has taken more momentum than the past years.
There were “Reneys in 2021, of course because of pandemic. It started growing in 2022, and in 2023 it is much larger, said percent. In all, 713 nurses have so far applied for licenses to go abroad”, she said in Tv1.
In addition, she said many young people in Kosovo are studying the nurse, as opportunities to get out of the country are greater.
There are many young people who are changing the profession in recent years in order to reach their destination, where they want as easily as possible. There are various directions that are changing branches, professions and starting to register the nurse, in order to make it easier to infiltrate countries in the region, as requirements are large”, Gori said.
OIC's chairwoman said that with current salaries, nurses have no chance of covering monthly expenses either.
The “package that already has nurses is for regret in Kosovo. There has been a sharp distinction within public sectors with the Law of the Salaries. But with wages now that the nurses have is impossible to survive. It brings about 500 euros, with this salary it is impossible to cover monthly expenses in Kosovo. Germany, on the other hand, is being paid approximately 2-3 times larger. But besides their dignified salary, they have better working conditions, and residential security is also being allowed, and in recent years they are being made sure to attract family there”, she added.
