A person from the Ashkali community was arrested after the same woman had taken her from the same community and sent her to his home in order to live together.

In the 24-hour report of the Kosovo Police, it becomes known that the case occurred Tuesday at around 19:25 in Obilic.

It becomes known that in connection with the case, the victim was interviewed, and during the interview he claimed he had voluntarily gone with the suspect to co-exist, while the case has been named as “rape”.

“Obilic, 14.11.23-19:25. The male ashkali suspect was arrested after the same man had taken the female ashkalic victim and sent him to his home in order to live together. The high-profile victim was interviewed, and during the interview he claimed he had voluntarily gone with the suspect to co-exist”, the report said.

Meanwhile, at the prosecutor's decision, the suspect has been taken to custody, while the victim with her consent has returned to her family.
