She has said the EU has the extent through which influence in Serbia would be clear, citing the possibility of halting funds. Von Cramon says it would be a soft move for Vuciqi, but stresses that the worst thing that could happen to Vuciqi is to appear before the electorate and explain why the funds are cut off and why the EU has taken action against him.
The European Parliament's rapporteur has said that if there is no co-operation, extradition and transparency in Banjska's case, then the EU should not only speak but also act.
She has said she hopes some of the measures will be seen soon.
“has a clear impact, but if we stop the money for Serbia, it would be a very soft decision for Vuci. Vucic will be ahead of the elections and the worst thing that can happen is why the EU suspended funds and why it took measures against him. If there is co-operation, there is extradition, if there is transparency, the EU must not speak but also act, and I hope some of them will soon see”, Von Croamon said.
She has already said Vuciq is very weak from the protests, and has suggested that the EP is waiting to see the results of the Banjska investigation by the end of the year.
“Vucic at the moment is quite weak. He faced more protests. There's too much pressure. I would wait to see a result of the Banjska investigation by the end of the year. This is what we have formulated and what we expect in the European Parliament”, Von Cremon has said of Euronews Albania.
