November 11, 1918, is marked as the Veterans' Day that began on the Day of Ceasesday, which commemorates the truce of November 11, at 11: 00 p.m., the eleventh day of the 11th month, which suspended active fighting and ended World War I.
This day in Pristina, ambassadors of the two countries once had enmity among themselves to deliver the message that reconciliation is always possible.
Germany's Jorn Rohde and Frenchman Olivier Guerot have marked this day, honouring some of the soldiers who lost their lives in Kosovo.
“” Finally shut down your weapons.” Many thought that 105 years ago, when World War I ended after years of suffering. Today we commemorated this event with our French friends, representatives of Kosovo, KFOR commander, Afghan and Ukrainian journalists and representatives of the diplomatic choir. We've learned that reconciliation is always possible”, it wrote Rohde on X.
