Union seeks detention of people who attacked police yesterday during the robbery in Suhareka

The Kosovo Police Union has reacted to yesterday's event in Suhareka, where armed persons robbed a goldsmith and injured one policeman, while another suffered injuries during the case.

In response, the union seeks the condemnation of persons suspected of preventing attacks on police officials.

Police officers want quick recovery, while condemning any assault on police and justice officials we ask to act under the Law to the perpetrators of these criminal acts in order to prevent attacks on police officials and other criminal acts”, it is said in this response.

Yesterday in the afternoon, in the town of Suhareka, Kosovo police have been exiled to prevent an armed robbery, and during the intervention two police officials, one with firearms, have been injured.

After the medical treatment, their condition is stable and out of danger for life.

So far, the attackers are on the run.
