Stano says he doesn't know who Burim Ramadani is, but does not deny the authenticity of the draft Association published by former AKI chief

The bill published by former AKI Chief Burim Ramadani, which according to various sources is the authentic draft offered by five emissaries on October 21st, European Union spokesman Peter Stano, has refused to confirm or tarnish, saying that “I see no reason to comment”. So Stano said in a pronomising for European portal “Eractiv”.

I don't know who Mr. Ramadani and I see no reason to comment on anything he might claim or publish”, Stano was quoted as saying.

He added that a new balanced European proposal for association has been presented at the end of Europe and has been discussed by both sides and that it has not been made public, as diplomatic efforts are under way.

“We never pass official documents that are being discussed and expect the same from the partners, as it is normal practice in international mediation for the process to develop into privacy,” he said, adding that it is a multiyear-old policy of the Commission not to comment on leaks as it is supposed to be.

Former Inspector General of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), Burim Ramadani, has published the European Union's complete draft for Association, in the original version and translated into Albanian.

Ramadani has said this draft is very broad and deep, while adding that “Kosovo must gain something serious as the precondition for implementing this document”.

“Seriosis in the competencies attributed to the Association, but above all very serious in the possibility it gives Serbia to function within Kosovo. And this, especially in education and health, social care, in financing and donations, similar to”, he wrote.

Ramadani published his English and Albanian website, saying it is the same version that has been given to Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

In late October, representatives of the US, EU, Germany, Italy and France have handed over to Kosovo the draft of the Association statute. The association was agreed on in 2013 but was not implemented after a 2015 decision by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, which claimed to be unconstitutional.
