The trial chamber in the case of former KLA leaders being tried in Specialised Chambers in The Hague has decided that former top speaker Jakup Krasniqi to continue detention And another two months.

Rexhep Selimi's detention has also been continued.
On April 3rd, the trial against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders has begun in The Hague.
Former KLA leaders are charged with war crimes: arrest and unlawful detention, cruel treatment, torture and unlawful murder. Meanwhile, crimes against mankind they are accused of are persecution, imprisonment, other inhuman acts, torture, unlawful murder, and forced extinction of persons.
The crimes were allegedly committed between March 1998 and September 1999, at several Kosovo locations, but also in Kukes and Cahan of Albania.
Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, former Prime Ministers Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi, and former President Rexhep Selimi have been declared innocent of all charges.
