After the poor ground situation at the capital's stadium took note last night in Kosovo's match against Israel, the Pristina municipality says maintenance of the “stadium is the obligation of the Kosovo Football Federation”.
Honored citizens, during the day, have circulated incorrect information that the maintenance of the stadium “Fadil Vokri” is in charge of Pristina Capital, and that the institution has not taken care of the stadium field. We inform you that maintaining the football stadium “Fadil Vokri” is not the responsibility of the Pristina capital, but is the obligation of the Kosovo Football Federation. This responsibility is arranged with Article 3, paragraph 1.3. of the Memorandium of Co-operation linked between the capital and the Kosovo Football Federation by December 30th 2022”, it said in response.
The municipality says it is working on building a new stadium in Pristina.
“We are aware that the stadium “Fadil Vokri” is overloaded with international games of clubs and the National Party of Kosovo and is subsequently in poor shape, so that the capital along with the Kosovo Football Federation is now working as long as the construction of the new capital stadium”, it is said in response.
