The United States supports no re-run of Gaza by Israel, the US State Department has said.
spokesperson Vedant Patel also said Washington does not support any forced shift of Palestinians outside Gaza Strip territory, reports Skynews.
Speaking at a daily press conference, Patel said it was not something Washington was attending and not on the negotiating tables.
This comes after the Israeli prime minister. Benjamin Netanyah today claimed that Israel will have the overall security responsibility of Gaza “over an indefinite” period.
Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said afterwards that Israel would not rule Gaza after the war, nor would Hamas.
Otherwise, Israel has launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip following Hamas ' sudden attack on Israeli territories.
