MP The PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, has said it is incomprehensible and anti-democratic that the draft Association, which has accepted Prime Minister Albin Kurti, is kept secret and is not given to public opinion.
The former Kosovo diplomat has told the Online Economy that he has seen a draft of the Association of Communities with Serbian Majority, but said he does not want to comment without seeing an official draft coming out of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
I read the draft. But without seeing an official draft coming out of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and saying Prime Minister Kurti this is the draft I've accepted, I don't think it would have to comment now”, Hoxhaj said.
Besides what's in content, for me it's very important government commitment. And it is incomprehensible and anti-democratic that this draft will remain further hidden and not be given public opinion on a topic which is very important”.
Drift is believed to have introduced mediator Miroslav Lajcak to his recent visit to Pristina, PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi, as well as leaders of other main opposition parties.
But, Hoxhaj said he has not recently met with Chairman Krasniqi. “I have not been able to see Mr. Krasniqi and talk about such a topic”, he said.
Hoxhaj is not seen to be part either of a meeting held by the president of the Democratic Party with the party's leadership, with MPs from the PDK Parliamentary Group and the heads of branches.
