In announcing Serbia's MPJ after the meeting, it is said that the French diplomat has stressed that when it comes to the Serb-run northern Kosovo majority, the main goal should be “the privatisation of the situation” and “the abnormalisation of relations”, until he reiterated France's support for the process of Serbia and the region's <x4-second European integration.
Linked to the tense situation in Kosovo's north, the chief of Serbian diplomacy, according to Serbia's MPJ announcement, has said that the party's priority should be to access the situation and implement the Base Agreement (Brussels, February 27th) and the Impnation Annex (Our, March 18th), including the establishment of the Serb Major Commission Association in Kosovo.
France has named special diplomat Troccaz for the Western Balkan region, while his appointment is in line with France's added involvement in the region, including the dialogue process for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, in the context of EU enlargement. Whether the French diplomat will visit Kosovo is unknown.
