From the moment the Kosovo government made the decision to extend the deadline for registering Serbian illegal license plates, to date there are 645 vehicles of citizens who have respected this decision to convert plates to RKS.
Police Director for the Northern Region Justice Veton Elshani's duty to RTK stressed that interest is growing.
“Citizens have begun to register their vehicles. Today we had 174 vehicles that were registered in the RKS, but the total from early November to now is 645 auto vehicles”, Elshani said.
He has said that except for the next Saturday, which is a working day because of the process, it is under discussion that Sunday will also be available to citizens for a change of plates.
Under the Kosovo Government's decision at the 28 October meeting, the deadline for registering Serbian illegal license plates has been extended until December 1st.
